The core business of ENDRESS

The core business of ENDRESS can be described in a few words: We develop, manufacture and distribute automatic wood combustion systems for trade and industry with top values for efficiency and particulate matter emissions. But you should best experience for yourself the enthusiasm for technology, the knowledge of the industry, the customer proximity and the commitment with which we go about this.

Our passion: pollutant-free, environmentally friendly and efficient residual wood recycling

Over the years, we have made an excellent name for ourselves among wood-processing companies, research institutes and multipliers for the provision of sustainable heat production in the field of pollutant-free, energetically highly efficient wood combustion. This is largely due to our innovative strength and the high quality of our products . But reliable technology alone is no guarantee for sustainable success. This requires trusting relationships with customers and employees that are characterised by a spirit of partnership, loyalty and fairness. This value system is also reflected in a very special working environment. Working with and at ENDRESS is a pleasure.

Our history: from waste oil combustion to innovative plant construction

Hans Endress founds the company in Creglingen / OT Freudenbach. It focuses on the development of solutions for waste oil combustion. First workshop ovens are produced.

With Hans-Dieter Endress, the next generation joins the company. In the same year, the company moves to Rothenburg ob der Tauber / district of Vorbach. In the next 10 years, the company is internationally successful with the production of waste oil stoves. In 1980, however, the legislator banned the burning of waste oil in small combustion plants.

New doors open: ENDRESS begins with the development of fully automatic wood combustion systems for wood chips, wood shavings and residual wood from wood processing. The "HANSEN - Stoker" is born.

Fully automatic wood combustion systems are increasingly in demand from wood-processing companies and the product range is constantly being expanded. Initially, the sales area is limited to southern Germany. The grandson of the company founder, Klaus Endress, together with the partners Hans-Dieter and Inge Endress, decisively prepare the ground for the foundation of ENDRESS Metall- und Anlagenbau GmbH.

By virtue of the continuous expansion of manufacturing and sales activities far beyond the borders of Germany, the company headquarters in Vorbach is bursting at the seams and offers no prospects for the future. The company moves to its current location in Burgbernheim. Markus Heese, the brother-in-law of Klaus Endress, takes over the area of "Technical Development and Production Optimisation" as a graduate engineer in mechanical engineering.
